Everything you (n)ever wanted to know.
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Wiltrichs and I am a miniature painter/self confessed toy soldier fanatic, living in United Kingdom. I first started painting miniatures 28 years ago. I decided to enter my first painting competition in 2006 and since then I have won a number of painting competitions and awards.
I have always been creative and I have loved getting lost in my own little world of doodles and drawings since I was in nappies. I discovered wargaming when I was 11 years old, I could combine toy soldiers and painting so I was immediately hooked. My passions also include learning 3D Modelling and Sculpting (although I would have to describe myself as a rookie at both… at best).
Why do I blog?
Wiltrichs.com is my outlet, my personal slice of the web where I can post my ramblings, share examples of my work, ongoing projects, maybe some random life updates, possibly the occasional rant and the odd video.

The greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.
